Great Hotel and Location

We stay regular at this hotel as a couple or a family. We love the staff and location. Lots to do around the area and the hotel is very clean! The kids are always made to feel welcome and the staff always chat to them. Not a lot of hotels bother with the interaction with children. Looking forward to our next visit.

Stunning View

This hotel is amongst my favourites in the IHG landscape.
It does what it says on the tin. Clean room, free breakfast, free Wi-Fi and that stunning view of the Tay bridge at night.
The breakfast is your typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast, scrambled egg, beans, sausages and as much croissant and bread roll as you can swallow.
Only downside is the parking, but hey it is the town centre.

The swimming pool is just a short walk away and they are nice and quiet first thing
Staff are great, the location is great. Jimmy Chungs around the corner is great also

Good Value

My daughter and I went for overnight stay to see university. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and breakfast was basic but fine. I thought for the price we paid and what we got for that price was very good. The twin room was clean and bed was very comfortable. We had dinner at an Italian Restaurant just around the corner which was lovely. The car park is the first left after the hotel and if you drive to the third floor there is a small walk-way that takes you into reception. You have to pay but after 6pm until 9am it is free - we stayed until the afternoon and it cost like £3.50. The Wi-Fi was free although on the site it said you would be charged. I thought Dundee was lovely. Friendly people and a mix of old buildings and new - Has a mall as well.

Good Value and Location

Had a nice stay last weekend. Great location and staff friendly..we had a room for 4 and was reasonably spaced.
Kids loved the blue lights in the bathroom. Considering breakfast is complimentary it's got a good choice. Ian at the front desk was helpful with advising us about parking.
Looking forward to the marina, it will make huge difference to the area.

Cheap, simple and great location

Great staff and support and were very helpful with any queries that I had. The room itself was large, had everything you'd need and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Delicious breakfast (which was included) and quite a good choice of food. The only problem I did have with it is that I asked for a wake up call and never got it, apart from that it was a great and handy hotel!
